A Wrinkle In Review

"A Wrinkle In Time": by Madeleine L'Engle
is both a fascinating and frightening book.

I highly recommend it,

assuming you've already read it...but incase you haven't
here's a couple o' thoughts!

Like I previously mentioned this book is both "fascinating and frightening." In my opinion absolutely nothing could more accurately (and perhaps bluntly) describe the novel's contents.
The characters are dysfunctional and relatable.

There's the "black thing", school tensions,  & dark forces at work...but also love, joy, happiness, and ultimately of all; big + bold references about God. Despite the fear factor, it's a book I've actually read multiple times because it's just that captivating.

If you've never read this humdinger

it's probably time you uh..do.

If you've already this humdinger

well uh..um...maybe you could read it again?

The book gets an 8 out of 10.

(And no, as far as I'm aware, the rainbow wings in this case are not a sign of support of same-sex marriages.) Rather, think of the rainbow as a sign pointing back to God.

(Genesis 9:13 tells us)
"I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of my covenant
with you and with all the earth."

and this song
"The rainbows in the sky to show God's promises are true."

Have a lovely rest of the day,

-jm
