HEYO

Heyo!

How's it going Funksteristas? Well, I hope! So today is the 16th of June 2014. What more wonderful way to soak in this seemingly insignificant day... then by purchasing a SPEAKTEE.

You might be wondering... hey what's a speaktee and why should I buy one?

Speaktees is a small but powerful start-up business.. where you can purchase handpainted recycled t-shirts in a wide/and wild arrange of crazy wonderful patterns+images+designs. They feature different messages, stories, and faces. I've been having a blast trying to make a go of this thing. I'd be completely blown away if you took the time and energy to spend a buck or two.. or atleast tell your friends, family and foes.

If you feel completely intrigued.. or sorta kinda interested. ..then feel free to take a look for yourself.

LIGHTLESS: Progress Report

Hey funkstertrunkians!

Today is the 4th of April- 2014-and what better way to celebrate.. then by giving you a good old-fashioned progress report!

Before I get things started... just wanted to say a ginormous thank-you to my funkster friends-for being a big support in the" Lightless Project." They've read countless chapters.. persisted that we continue with this whole thing.. been fantastic- and have seemingly even enjoyed the experience!

(GurLeen and Elli.. you are both funksterific... and incredible.)

 LIGHTLESS PROGRESS REPORT

Chapters one through 13 are completed. (In their rough forms.)

I decided to "switch things up a little".. and I wrote several chapters (starting around chapter 5) from the perspectives of people other than Lashes.
Chapter 5 is written from the City Keeper's point of view.. and really fleshes out his character a bit more.. and gives some background on where he/and other characters have come from.

Full Character List: (so far)

-Lashes
-Pierce
-Cornea
-Narrow
-Emerald
-Hollow
-City Keeper

I don't think of this as being a "serious spoiler" but in some of the later chapters.. I've decided to illustrate things and include a couple hand-drawn images to go along with the story. My hope is that this will help fuel your imagination.. so that you really feel more drawn into the world and world(s) of Lightless.

 We're on this journey together,
{and just admit it.. doesn't it seem exciting?!)

sidenote: as fabulous as the new site background is.. it will only be temporary-as I find myself missing that beautiful nature scene.

A Post about a Post

Out of sheer laziness and stuff... I bring you the world's most boring blog post.
A
post
about a
post.

or not even about a post really... but hey at least I'm showing you this hand-sketched drawing of a post. (Okay I made it on my laptop.) Don't throw rotten tomatoes at me...

Wolves, Minks, Coyotes and Porcupines.

Hello blog reading friends!
As you have more than likely noticed... my blog posts tend to be all over the place and on different topics each time.
To keep going with that direction; today's topic is on interesting animal facts.
The inspiration of this chosen topic comes from taking an Agriculture class at my school where we've been learning about all sorts of different animals. Their scientific names.. families and orders they belong in and all that kind of awesome stuff.

Here's a compilation of a few things I've learnt through the process.. from a number of different sources.

1: Moose have terrible eyesight.

2: A group of porcupines is called a "prickle". Hehe.

3. The scientific name for a wolverine is "Gulo gulo" which actually means glutton in latin.

I'm going to keep it short and sweet for today.. so adios!
